'Ron's Gone Wrong' is a heartfelt animated story set in a digitally savvy world in which everybody is constantly interconnected. When a line of high-tech robots designed to transform themselves into every child's new Best Friend is released, every kid on earth is desperate to get themselves one of the digital little dudes. When an eleven-year-old boy discovers that his robot doesn't work quite right, however, he sets about teaching his new friend about the world around it, giving way to a gentle story about developing true friendships in a world in which social media reigns and distorts the beauty of difference. 'Ron's Gone Wrong' is co-directed by Alessandro Carloni ('Kung Fu Panda 3', 'The Shark and the Piano') and Jean-Philippe Vine ('Shaun the Sheep'). Vine writes the screenplay alongside Peter Baynham ('Borat', 'I Am Not an Animal', 'Arthur Christmas') and Sarah Smith ('Nighty Night', 'Bob and Margaret', 'Where's Elvis This Week?'). On the producing team are Lara Breay ('Megamind'), Julie Lockhart ('Buzz Off!') and Sarah Smith. Thomas Barbusca ('Schooled', 'The Kids Are Alright', 'Arrested Development') stars in the voice-role of Jayden, with Bentley Kalu ('American Assassin', 'Dead Ringer', 'Avengers: Age of Ultron') also heading the cast.
