Sid and Nancy

Morbid biographical story of Sid Vicious, main bassist of the Sex Pistols, and his girlfriend Nancy Spungen. When the Pistols break up after their terribly fatal US tour, Vicious tries to start a solo career while in the verge of heroin addiction. Everything will change when one morning, Nancy is found stabbed to death and Sid is arrested for her murder.

This film is based, in part on the book by Deborah Spungen "And I Don't Want To Live This Life." It's a raw portrait of the terrible drug us that was so pervasive in the scene back at that time. The cast starred Chloe Webb as Nancy and Gary Oldman as the haunting Sid. Directed by Alex Cox, despite it was a failure in the box office it eventually became a cult classic.
