Plot
1931 was a year of nationalisms and excesses, as the Chinese are expelled from Sonora and the United States deport Mexicans and close their borders. Twelve people who are absolutely desperate cross the Sonoran Desert in a 1929 Chrysler, hoping to find peace in Baja California. As your stay exposes the best and worst of human nature, racism, greed and paranoia will shake hands and be as deadly as the merciless landscape around them.
