Straight Outta Compton

In the mid-eighties, the village of Compton, California, was famous for one of the towns with more violence in the United States. It is a biopic about American rap group NWA formed by Arabian Prince, DJ Yella, Dr. Dre, Eazy-E, Ice Cube and MC Ren. Five young men, born and raised there, decided to capture their daily life in music, creating a new style that revolutionized the cultural panorama of that time. His honesty and rebellion against abuse of authority began a new generation with Hip-hop as a banner and music as the voice that distanced them from silence that had engulfed by the government. The film is directed by F. Gary Gray (other great film as Law Abiding Citizen or The Italian Job) and starring by Jason Mitchell (Contraband, Dragon Eyes), Aldis Hodge (After), Neil Brown Jr (NAVY: Los Ángeles), Paul Giamatti (Madame Bovary) y Keith Stanfield (Gimme Grace). Biopic are produced by Ice Cube and Dr. Dre with the widow of Eazy-E.
