Escape Room

Six strangers receive six black boxes containing tickets to an escape room that, if beaten, offers a large sum of money as a prize. From Zoey, a shy physics student, to Ben, a stock boy at a grocery store frustrated by the lack of advancement opportunities in his career, the tickets seem like a golden opportunity for change. Though unaware of the exact conditions that the immersive experience entails, the ten thousand dollar prize fund is enough to tempt them into participation, though the six quickly realise they have made a mistake that it potentially fatal. Locked in a series of rooms that appear to contain coding and puzzles, they soon realise that to fail is to unleash life-threatening effects.

The members of the group become increasingly concerned about how authentic the escape room continues to be, especially when they notice that the cameras occupying each room offer no assistance when they ask for it.

With their life expectancy decreasing by the minute, members of the team must use their wits and work together to discover the secrets of the mysterious architect of the game who is keeping them hostage within this terrifying simulated reality.
