The Fabulous Four

Marylin (Bette Midler) is about to get married. To celebrate her bachelorette party, her three college friends, Lou (Susan Sarandon), Alice (Megan Mullally), and Kitty (Sheryl Lee Ralph), visit her for a trip to Key West, a paradise located in Florida.

Lou is obsessed with her cats, who stay at home, and she constantly video calls them to check on how they are doing. Alice is a ruthless woman who loves marijuana, while Marylin does silly things (not mattering the cost) by following social media trends. This includes dances or challenges that cringe her group of friends.

Once they arrive there, the friends choose the bride's dress, go skydiving, and even stop a thief, for example. Problems arise when Marylin chooses Lou as her maid of honor over the rest of the group, which makes them envious. The worst of their past and their own issues will come to light just days before the wedding.

'The Fantastic Four' is a film directed by Jocelyn Moorhouse, the director of 'The Dressmaker'. The screenplay is written by Ann Marie Allison and Jenna Milly, who previously worked together in 2020 when they wrote the script for 'Golden Arm'. TriPictures is the company responsible for distributing the title in Spain, arriving in national cinemas on May 30.
