The Hunger Games: Sunrise on the Reaping

One morning of the 50th Hunger Games, the Capitol decides to double the number of tributes in honor of the Second Quarter Quell in Panem. The protagonist of this story will be a young 16-year-old Haymitch from District 12, who, once he establishes himself as the winner of his first games, will become the mentor of Katniss and Peeta.

The story takes place 24 years before the events of 'The Hunger Games.' Francis Lawrence returns to direct 'The Hunger Games: Dawn in the Harvest' after having directed all the films in the saga (except the first), written by Billy Ray based on the Hunger Games trilogy by author Suzanne Collins.

The cast is led by Joseph Zada (as Haymitch) and Whitney Peak (as Lenore Dove Baird). They will be joined by their co-stars such as Elle Fanning (Fannie), Ralph Fiennes (President Snow), and Kieran Culkin (Caesar Flickerman).
