The Kindergarten Teacher

'The Kindergarten teacher' is a film coproduced between Israel and France and directed and written by filmmaker Nadav Lapid. It tells the story of a young kindergarten teacher who discovers that one of her students, a five years old child, has a hidden and far superior talent no one knows about. This talent is related to the creation for poetry. The teacher decides she has to protect the child but on the other side she is beyond amazed and proud of his poetry skills so she decides to encourage his creativity so the child will be able to be able to explore the world of poetry and then become himself a poet. 'The Kindergarten teacher' was premiered and nominated in several film festival and it has received many critical acclaims for its pedagogical background.
