The Leisure Seeker

'The Leisure Seeker' is the name of Ella and John Spencer's RV, in which they used to travel with their children. John, played by Donald Sutherland, is a big fan of Ernest Hemingway and a retired english teacher who suffers dementia. In a bid to surprise John, Ella, played by Helen Mirren, suggests they set off on another road trip through America with the intention of ending up in Key West, the home of Ernest Hemingway.

Beginning in Boston, 'The Leisure Seeker' follows the lovers on their journey filled with excitement and adventure. The film is directed by Paolo Virzì, and based on the eponymous novel by Michael Zadoorian, adapted for the big screen by Janel Moloney. Featuring academy award winning Mirren alongside Golden Globe winner, Donald Sutherland, 'The Leisure Seeker' is one to watch.
