The Long Good Friday

Bob Hoskins stars in 'The Long Good Friday', directed by John Mackenzie. He plays Harold, a mobster with a very promising career. He and his wife are trying to close a big deal with a group of American gangsters when bombs start to appear at the most inconvenient places. Harold realizes he's IRA next target. Helen Mirren plays Victoria, Bob Hoskin's wife in 'The Long Good Friday'. Hoskins earned a nomination to the BAFTA awards thanks to his performance in this movie.
