Claudia Pinto directs this film. 'The Longest Distance', is the first Pinto's film in cinemas, and it has been nominated to the 2015 Goya Awards, in Best Iberoamerican Film Category. The film is about Martina, an old Spanish woman who decides to move to the Amazones to kill himself. But suddenly appears her grandson, and everything in her life change. Love will be her cure to all her pains. This film talks about the freedom of choice we have when defining our lives, how strong family ties can be and how second opportunities are all around us. It is an ode to freedom which reminds us that is never to late to take the reins of life.
