Plot

'The Party' is a British drama comedy written and directed by Sally Potter ('Ginger & Rosa', 'The Man Who Cried', 'Orlando'). The film premieres for the first time at the Berlin International Film Festival. The tape revolves around a tragedy. Janet (Kristin Scott Thomas) is a London politician that has just been named Minister of Health. To celebrate the news, along with her husband Bill (Timothy Spall), organizes a great celebration in her elegant home and invites her closest acquaintances, including her best friend in April (Patricia Clarkson). The party, which began as a celebration, gradually became a nightmare full of hate, resentment and vengeance for those present.
