The Prophet

The film is directed by Roger Allers, ?Lion King? director. It takes place in the imaginary island of Orfales. In this island Kamila, a widowed mother works as the housekeeper of Mustafa, a foreign poet and political activist who is under house arrest. Almitra, the eight year old Kamila?s daughter, has stopped talking since his father's death, and also changed her behavior, getting into troubles even stealing frequently in supermarkets. Her only friends are the seagulls, being able to talk to them by making sounds that mimic birds.

However, between Mustafa and Almitra begins a relation between friendship and admiration. So when the government announces that Mustafa is free, and that will be taken back to his country in a ship, Almitra spend the whole travel time listening to his stories about freedom and existence.
