The Running Man

In a near-future society, 'The Running Man' is the highest-rated television show: a deadly competition in which contestants, known as Runners, must survive 30 days while being hunted by professional killers. Every move is broadcast to a bloodthirsty audience, and with each passing day, the cash reward increases.

Desperate to save his sick daughter, Ben Richards (Glen Powell), a working-class man, is convinced by the charming yet ruthless producer of the show, Dan Killian (Josh Brolin), to participate in the game as a last resort. But Ben's defiance, instincts, and guts make him an unexpected fan favorite and a threat to the entire system. As the ratings soar, so does the danger, and Ben must outsmart not only the Hunters but also a nation addicted to watching him fall.

The film is directed by Edgar Wright, who shares the screenplay with Stephen King and Michael Bacall. It is filled with action, dark humor, and even some elements of horror. It hits theaters on November 11, 2025.
