The Running Man

In a near-future society, The Running Man is the highest-rated television show: a deadly competition in which contestants, known as Runners, must survive 30 days while being pursued by professional killers. Every move is broadcast to a bloodthirsty audience, and with each passing day, the cash reward increases.

Desperate to save his sick daughter, Ben Richards (Glen Powell), a working-class man, is convinced by the charming yet ruthless producer of the show, Dan Killian (Josh Brolin), to participate in the game as a last resort. But Ben's rebellion, instincts, and guts make him an unexpected fan favorite and a threat to the entire system. As the ratings soar, so does the danger, and Ben must outsmart not only the Hunters but also a nation addicted to watching him fall.
