The Summer House's reviews

'The Summer House' means the culmination of director's style when it comes to composing a domestic and intimate fresco.
You have to admire [the director's] cheekiness in this well-observed but flimsy piece of fun.
'The Summer House' will delight lovers of the most Frenchified bourgeois comedies and will leave out those who do not share a love for these time of films.
Variety
Tedeschi takes us on another low-stakes, lightly fictionalized tour of her dippy family's travails, with a sense of humor that manages to self-deprecate without ever actually becoming self-critical.
It is a story which ends up very confusing in many moments and most of the dialogues (which change tomic and whose sequence has no coherent order) do not acheieve anything more than to bore and exhaust the audience.
La Razón
"Bruni-Tedeschi is a singular actress. All of it is overflowing and unpredictable emotion, in it no feeling is well defined, laughter and crying belong to the same body in crisis."
The Hollywood Reporter
"Raffaelli and Moreau manage to bring more shadings to their characters, even though they have less screen time".
