The Tobacconist

'The Tobacconist' tell the story of younger Franz Huchel and professor and psychologist Sigmund Freud's friendship. Franz's life will change forever when he meets Sigmund Freud in the tobacco shop where he works. At the same time, Franz will start a love story with a young girl, thanks in part to the advice provided by the psychoanalyst. Both of them will begin a friendship in a society that is about to change with the Nazi invasion.

The film is based on the international bestseller by Robert Seethaler, which is directed by Nikolaus Leytner and starring Simon Morzé (who plays Franz Huchel), Bruno Ganz (who plays psychoanalyst Sigmund Freud), Johannes Krsih (Otto Trsnjek) and Emma Drogunova (Anezka).
