Together

'Together' is an Australian-American horror film written and directed by Michael Shanks, which is his directorial debut. It is produced and starred by Dave Franco and Alison Brie, who are also a couple in real life. The film premieres at the 2025 Sundance Film Festival to positive reviews and, in July of the same year, it hits theaters in the United States, where its success quickly recoups the $17 million budget.

Tim and Millie are a couple who have been together for over a decade. She is a teacher and he is a musician. Noticing that their relationship has stagnated, they decide to move to the countryside. Gradually, they begin to experience an attraction to each other that goes beyond the sentimental: from literally sticking together to experiencing strange episodes in which one partner must go to find the other.

What is happening between them? Could the new house have something to do with their strange behaviors? While psychologists attribute their reactions to panic attacks, the strange attraction between them only continues to grow.

'Together' was shot in 21 days at various locations in Australia, although the film is actually set in the State of Washington in the United States. In addition to Franco and Brie, the cast includes Damon Herriman, Mia Morrisey, Karl Richmond, and Jack Kenny, among others.
