Tony, Shelly and the Spirit

'Tony, Shelly and the Magic Light' is a Hungarian animation movie which introduces Tony, a little boy with a very peculiar characteristic. Tony shines, he does it since he was born, and that's the reason why he spends everyday hidden under a bunker of blankets that he built in his room.

Tony dreams about having a friend to play with and his wish comes true when a peculiar little girl named Shelly moves into the same building as him a few days before Christmas. Shelly will put Tony's world upside down with her arrival and together, they will experience a journey where they'll discover a fascinating mystery hiding in their building.

The movie is directed by Filip Posivac and written by Jana Srámková. The main cast includes Michael Pólak, Antonie Baresová and Ivana Uhlírová. An adventure full of light, magic and mysteries starred by a shiny eleven year old boy and a little girl who has a strange magic flashlight.

The building keeps much more secrets than it seems and the new friends will try to discover them all. 'Tony, Shelly and the Magic Light' has been filmed with the famous technic of stop motion. It has been awarded with the Best Animation Movie Award in the Sitges Festival and with the Special Award from the jury in the Annecy Festival.
