Train to Busan

Busy divorced executive Sok-woo and his daughter Soo-ahn are boarding the KTX, a fast train that shall bring them from Seoul to Busan. But right at the moment of their departure, the train station is overrun by zombies which kill the train driver and wreak havoc on the train. Alone and scared the passengers will have to fight for their lives against the danger that is devastating the country. South Korean action, apocalyptic and survival film that has become an event in its home country and a box office hit.

The film is written and directed by Sang-ho Yeon, known by other titles like 'Seoul Station' or 'The Fake'. The cast is completed by Yoo Gong as Seok Woo; Soo-an Kim as Soo-an; Yu-mi Jung as Sung Gyeong; Dong-seol Ma as Sang Hwa, between others. The corean director Yeon Sang-ho was awarded in Sitges Film Festival with two prizes: Best Director and Best Visual Effects. The movie was officially selected in Cannes Film Festival and it was very commented.
