Trust

'Trust' is a U.S. horror thriller directed by Carlson Young based on an original script by Gigi Levangie. It is a production of Twisted Pictures and Republic Pictures that premieres in the United States on August 22, 2025. The film stars 'Game of Thrones' actress Sophie Turner.

Turner plays Lauren Lane, a well-known Hollywood actress who has been acting since she was young, becoming one of the most beloved characters thanks to her role in a successful sitcom. Everything takes a turn when, after a hacking scandal, sexual photos of her are leaked, including one with a positive pregnancy test. Hounded day and night by paparazzi, Lauren decides to isolate herself for a few weeks in a remote cabin in the woods.

However, strange things begin to happen in the cabin: from noises and voices that want to harm her to the presence of old acquaintances she did not expect, Lauren will have to fight for her life.

'Trust' also features a cast that includes Rhys Coiro, Billy Campbell, Peter Mensah, Forrest Goodluck, and Gianni Paolo, among others. The film generally receives disastrous reviews, and after a brief run in theaters where it achieves a meager box office, it jumps straight to streaming platforms.
