Plot

'Victoria and Abdul' tells an extraordinary story of friendship in the late years of Queen Victoria (Judi Dench). Abdul Karim (Ali Fazal) is a young Indian secretary who travels to Britain to celebrate the Jubilee: the queen's 50 years of sovereignty. To her surprise, Victoria will be interested in him. The Queen begins to question the restrictions of her status as sovereign, and between both, a loyal and improbable alliance arises. But the Queen's circle will try to destroy it.
