War Book

The Cold War may be over, but our planet is not safer than before in terms of the potential dangers of nuclear conflict. 'War Book' is a modest piece of British camera archived so far, which again reunites director Tom Harper and screenwriter Jack Thorne, who already work in the 2009 thriller 'The Scouting Book for Boys'. The film takes place largely in a wood-paneled room, where we see lively discussions between a government minister in the UK and several assistants, all working on the implications of the explosion of a nuclear device has caused in Asia.
