We Are Never Alone

A paranoid prison guard obsessed with orders moves into a village flanked by a state motorway. Once he is there, he befriends with his neighbor, an hypochondriac and unemployed man who survives thanks to his wife support, who works in a local grocery. She is tired of the life she has, always taking care of their children, and she starts falling in love with the nightclub bouncer, but her love is not reciprocated cause he is in love with the club stripper, and the stripper is waiting for the father of her son to return from the prison the first guard worked in.

The film is written and directed by Petr Václav. which talks about characters struggling with life and death, the love and the fear, and at the same time it plays with the black and with and the color of the film.
