Weekend

A satire of the sixties in which a Parisian couple leaves the city to escape from their day to day, but in their way they find a great and endless jam that seems threatening. So they decide to flee cross-country but their life will change when realizing that everything is due to the beginning of a terrifying civil war promoted by revolutionaries and assassins.

'Week-end' is directed and written by Jean-Luc Godard who in his cast wanted to have Mireille Darc (Corinne Durand), Jean Yanne (Ronald Durand) and Jean-Pierre Kalfon.
