Wild Flowers

'Wild Flowers' is the new film by director Jaime Rosales, known for other projects such as 'Petra', 'The Hours of the Day' or 'Solitary Fragments', among others. The cast is made up of Anna Castillo, who stars in this story along with Oriol Pla and Quim Àvila. Together with them, Carolina Yuste, Manolo Soto and Lluís Marquès complete the cast. Written and directed by Jaime Rosales, in collaboration with Bárbara Díez, who was also in charge of the script for the feature film. The film tells us the story of Julia (Anna Castillo), a young woman who is 22 years old and is already the mother of two children. One day, Julia falls in love with Óscar (Oriol Pla), a boy who is quite conflictive and with whom our protagonist began a relationship. Julia spends time with Óscar and, as they get to know each other better and spend more time with each other, she begins to wonder if her new boyfriend is really the person she needs to have by her side, if that relationship is convenient and makes her happy. really happy. This question and reflection will lead Julia on a character journey in search of her own happiness and that of her entire family.

In the words of the director, Jaime Rosales, this film is a photographic report of a young American mother going through three personal relationships. Her story became the inspiration for the creation of the character of Julia -a woman who lives on the outskirts of Barcelona- and the script for 'Wild Flowers'.
