Ya no quedan junglas

Theo (Ron Perlman), known as "The Gentleman," is a former American soldier leading a solitary and gray life, trapped between routine and memories of a happier past with his late wife. His only stability is the day of the week he spends with Olga, a prostitute he pays not for sex, but for the company of their conversations, reliving who he was and dreaming of what his life could have been, clinging to those moments that give him meaning.

However, one day she is murdered, and at that moment Theo is drawn into a world of violence and revenge, leaving a trail that attracts the attention of Iborra, an alcoholic police inspector, and Herodes, a ruthless and meticulous hitman.

Amidst chases and rising tensions, each encounter and every decision builds a board of dangers where everyone must confront their own demons with no one able to predict what will come, while the city itself becomes a silent witness to their actions.

Directed by Luis Gabriel Beristáin and written by Juma Fodde, the story explores human fragility, the obsession with personal justice, and the unresolved debts that are never truly forgotten.
