Jason Momoa confirmed on Instagram this week that they have finished the filming for upcoming motion picture, 'Aquaman'. The actor posted a photo of himself with Australian singer-songwriter Christopher William Stoneking (C.W. Stoneking) letting us know, in the most discreet way possible, that his work on 'Aquaman' for now at least, is over.

Momoa and his co-star, Amber Heard, who'll play Aquaman's love interest, Mera, are both very excited to be among the first who get to portray the ruler of Atlantis. "No-one's made an 'Aquaman' film before, so it's fun for me to set the bar. There's been no 'Aquaman' before me", said the actor.

Having seen bits of the superhero in the 'Justice League' trailers, it appears as though 'Aquaman' is a bit more of a rebel than our usual DC heroes.

For now, we'll have to wait until 21st December 2018 to see Momoa's 'Aquaman' and the adventures he gets up to with his friends, who will be played by Nicole Kidman and Willem Dafoe.
