The new 'Justice League' trailer has just dropped, and while previous trailers hinted at the copious special effects awaiting us, we've now been able to see them in all of their glory. The film is set for release on 17th November in the UK, and given the success of 'Wonder Woman' earlier this year, Gal Gadot's return to the big screen is one of the most anticipated moments.

The latest DC film doesn't only welcome back Diana Prince, but Batman, and Superman too. We'll also be introduced to new faces, Cyborg, Aquaman, and Flash, who don't yet have their own films. The DC superheroes have increased in number in recent years thanks to films such as 'Justice League' which is supposed to be the equivalent to Marvel's 'Avengers Assemble'.

In the trailer we get a peak at some of the newer heroes' powers, as well as a good look at Superman!! Thankfully the trailer doesn't give too much away about the film or how he comes back to life - something fans feared would happen if they watched it. Instead of any spoilers, the trailer shows Lois Lane dream about Superman emphasising that at the beginning of the film at least, Clark Kent is very much dead.

How Superman's death affects the other heroes

'Justice League' will pick up from where 'Batman v Superman: The Dawn of Justice' ended, with the controversial death of Superman. The legendary hero's death will have changed some of the characters in the film, not least Batman who will recover some of the faith he once had in the human race. As for Wonder Woman, Gal Gadot explains her character has, "grown up - it's been a century, after all!"

 Justice League

Despite Superman's supposed return, he won't be the force bringing all of the other heroes together - that role falls to Batman. Director, Zack Snyder told Collider, "one of the big things I wanted to make sure of was that as we went into Justice League, Bruce Wayne was the one who was gathering the Justice League. I thought it was really important to have Bruce Wayne be the samurai who goes and finds the other samurai, that to me was important. And with Superman around it's kinda hard, because Superman is Superman so it's kinda hard for Bruce to be like, «Yeah I wanna put a Justice League together». It's like, «Okay, but maybe Superman should be doing that. You're just a guy. You're a cool guy, don't get me wrong, but you're just a guy»".
