Family Guy

'Family Guy' is an adult animated comedy aired by FOX. The series sarcastically narrates, in a politically incorrect manner and with a characteristic dark humor, the adventures of the Griffin family. Through absurd situations and cultural references, it addresses social or controversial issues.

This family consists of Peter, an irresponsible father with a great knack for making bad decisions; Lois, a mother and housewife trying to maintain some order, although sometimes she can't help but fall into chaos; Brian, the family dog who is (according to him) the voice of reason; Stewie, a baby with delusions of grandeur and homicidal tendencies on more than one occasion; Chris, a clumsy and easily influenced teenager; and Meg.

The series was created in 1999 by Seth MacFarlane and produced by Fuzzy Door Productions along with 20th Television Animation. Four years later, in 2003, the series was canceled. However, thanks to its success in DVD sales, it regained an audience and was revived in 2005. Since then, it has established itself as one of the longest-running animated comedies on American television.

It has a significant cultural impact, nonlinear gags, an abuse of offensive humor, and a plot composed of parodies of multiple themes such as politics, religion, or even the entertainment industry itself. It has become a reference in adult animation and has remained present in recurring debates about the limits of humor on television.

The voices that bring the characters to life come from Seth MacFarlane (actor, animator, writer, producer, director), who voices Peter, Brian, and Stewie; Alex Borstein (Lois), Mila Kunis (Meg), and Seth Green (Chris).
