Biography
Deborah Offner was born in New York. His father was Mortimer Offner, a screenwriter on the blacklist. He wrote many of Katherine Hepburn's early films, was a renowned portrait and studio photographer, and directed and produced on television and Broadway before his career was cut short. His mother, Pauline, was a photography editor and worked for the first medical photography magazine, "Scope." Deborah went to Sarah Lawrence College and NYU School Of The Arts. He has worked extensively in theater, including "Hair" on Broadway and many works in Joseph Papp's Public Theater.
