Esther Scott has participated in more than 70 films and series. His first role, in 1986, was to give voice to Shodu, a character from the animated series of 'Star Wars', 'Ewoks'. She also appeared in 'Hart of Dixie' such as Delma, 'The Help', 'Melrose Place' and in single chapters of series such as 'Girlfriends', 'Beverly Hills, 90210', 'Full House', 'Less than perfect', 'Strong Medicine', 'Four Kings' and 'The Mentalist', among others.

She also appeared in a large number of films such as 'Gangster Squad', 'Transformers', 'Dreamgirls', 'The Craft' and 'Don Juan Demarco'. One of his most memorable roles was in 'Boyz n the Hood', in which she played Tisha?s grandmother, played by Leonette Scott.

Her latest projects were in the television series 'Pure Genius', in the feature film 'Trust Fund' by Sandra L. Martin and as Bridget, one of Nat Turner?s relatives, in 'The Birth of a Nation' by Nate Parker.
