Felipe Gálvez was born in Santiago de Chile in 1983 and graduated from the Cinema University of Buenos Aires, Argentina. After working as editor and screenwriter and directing several short-films, he's made his debut in the feature film with 'The Settlers', which will represent Chile in the run for the Oscar as Best International Film.
