Actress and singer Halle Bailey was born on March 27, 2000 in Atlanta Georgia. She is mostly known for her music career. She is part of Chloe x Halle, a duet formed with her younger sister Chloe. They started doing covers in YouTube and were discovered by Beyoncé, who made them her protegés. They even went on tour with her as her opening act at her Formation Tour.

Her acting career is very little at the moment. She is part of the Freeform series 'Grown-ish' and she has appeared in films like 'A Wrinkle In Time' or 'Last Holiday'. In July 2019 she got her big opportunity as she was announced as the new Ariel for Disney's live action remake of 'The Little Mermaid'.
