Biography
Richard Marquand was born in Llanishen, Cardiff (Glamorgan, Wales). He was a director and producer well known as a director of Episode VII of the saga 'Star Wars': 'Return of the Jedi' (1983). Other movies he directed: 'Jagged Edge' (1985) and 'Eye of the Needle' (1981). He studied en the Emanuel School of London, at the University of Marsella and the King's College of Cambridge. Richard Marquand was married with Carol Bell and Josephine Marquand. He died because a heart attack at the age of 49.
