Biography
Sameh Zoabi was born in a humble Palestinian family. He could not watch any movie in the cinema until he was 20 years old, since there was no theatre in his locality or nearby. With excellent grades, he ended up studying cinema and english philology at the University of Tel Aviv. Later he obtained a three-year scholarship at Columbia University. His films have been exhibited at several international festivals such as Cannes, Venice, Berlin or Sundance.
