A woman returns to her homeland to celebrate Christmas, but her grandfather does not want to do it.
Lucy (Victoria Ulmos) is a young woman that lives in the big city. Looking to escape from the routine, she travels to the town where she was born to reunite with her family for Christmas. Alex (Linwood Yarborough), her father, lives in there, but does not like the celebration. Despite this, she tries to encourage him to join the festivities and do something special for the occasion.
However, Alex reveals that he inevitably associates that date with the death of his wife, who passed away around Christmas. Nevertheless, he and his family will do everything to help him overcome this obstacle and continue with his life normally. 'Paradise Falls: A Christmas Story' is a comedy-drama film directed by Manu Canales (who was part of the cast of 'Presa de su objetivo') and written by Fernando Lujan Mote, who makes his debut with this title.
