Trailer for 'The Thomas Crown Affair', an action film directed by and starring Michael B. Jordan alongside Adria Arjona.
The first trailer for 'The Thomas Crown Affair' introduces the new take on this classic tale of heists and seduction, with Michael B. Jordan serving simultaneously as director and lead actor. The film falls within the action genre and maintains the cat-and-mouse tension between the white-collar thief and his pursuer that characterised previous versions of this story.
The trailer opens with a voiceover describing the sensation of executing a precisely calculated heist: the racing heart, the measured steps, the silence that precedes the action. "I felt alive," is heard, as the editing suggests stealthy movements and meticulous planning.
As for the cast, Adria Arjona shares the lead with Jordan in what looks set to be the central confrontation of the plot. Meanwhile, Kenneth Branagh and Pilou Asbæk round out the ensemble in roles yet to be publicly confirmed. Danai Gurira, known for her work in the Marvel franchise, also forms part of the cast.
