'Toscana' trailer

Santiago is a food critic who finds himself going through a mid-life crisis. While on his way to a clinic where his wife is waiting to do in vitro fertilization, Santi, who was driving a motorbike, collides with a car whose driver he runs away. Disoriented, Santi tries to find help, but ends up trapped in a restaurant called Toscana, where a former chef with a shotgun claims money owed to its owner. 'Toscana' is written, directed, and acted by Pau Duran ('Merlí', 'El Principe'). According to the director, ?the story starts from the economic and global crisis to reach another emotional and intimate one: the one that plagues some characters trapped in their lost dreams, the fear of maturity and the passage of time, as well as the fear to continue to be threatened not only by global and unknown pandemics, but also by equally global ones ? but these are known worldwide, and necessary for comedy ? human miseries?.
