Trailer 'Chuck Chuck Baby' (2023)

The trailer for 'Chuck Chuck Baby', a British drama from director Janis Pugh, presents a story about women caught between the expectations of those around them and the desire to build a life of their own. The film, shot in the United Kingdom, combines an intimate tone with moments of dry humour and an atmosphere that oscillates between oppressive everyday life and the possibility of change.

The trailer opens with the reunion of two women who knew each other from school and who, after more than twenty years, strike up a real conversation for the first time. From there, the trailer traces the outline of a relationship that the characters around them observe with unease and mistrust.

The cast is led by Louise Brealey and Annabel Scholey in the lead roles, joined by Sorcha Cusack, Celyn Jones, and Emily Fairn in supporting parts. Janis Pugh also wrote the screenplay, positioning the project as a deeply personal work.
