Trailer 'Horsegirls' (2025)

'Horsegirls' is a 2025 American comedy from director Lauren Meyering. The film explores the process of growing up and adult identity through a humorous lens, with moments of genuine emotional depth, building its tone from everyday situations and characters caught between responsibility and a reluctance to grow up.

The trailer opens with an introduction as absurd as it is revealing: a young woman explains that her parents named her Margarita because they were drinking margaritas on the night she was conceived. From there, the trailer strings together scenes depicting a return to the family home, the pressure to find work, and enrolment in a dressage class that serves as the central thread of the story.

The cast is led by Gretchen Mol, joined by Iqbal Theba, Jerod Haynes, Lillian Carrier, and Joel Austin.
