VOSE trailer 'No Bears' for United Kingdom

'No Bears' is the 12th feature film from renowed Iranian director Jafar Panahi. Other previous projects of his include 'Taxi Tehran' o 'Three Faces', but critics agree that 'No Bears' is the most complete work from the director, writer and actor. In this 106 minute drama Panahi wants to tell two very similar love stories, both with unreachable wishes, frustrated by problems that can't be avoided.

This film, that was awarded in the Venice Film Festival in 2022 with the Special Jury Prize, is a complete criticism of the frustrated aspirations of the common people, becoming a strong plea against difficult topics like cinematographic censorship in the Middle Eats. A film surrounded of a pessimistic atmosphere that shows Panahi in all his glory.

As for the cast, Jafar Panahi acts as himself, and Naser Hashemi, Vahid Mobasheri, Baktiyar Panjeei, Mina Kavani, Narges Delaram, Reza Heydari and Javad Siyahi complete the cast.
