Economically told from the start, the film moves beautifully.

Thanks to John Goodman's wise performance, who can be villain and conciliatory in a single frame, and thanks to the astute decision of out of the screen an outside that can be apocalyptic or not at all, the movie sets a tense pulse, electrifying, with the simple elements that it has in its range.

This is a terrific movie that will keep audiences gripping their seats from start to finish, and a great deal of that is due to the magnificent acting jobs by Goodman, Winstead and co-star John Gallagher Jr.

Dan Trachtenberg's debut leaves you shocked from the beginning. Each frame is beauty and efficiency, anguish and effervescence.

Magnetic and beating story, its narrative mechanism works perfectly from the start to the end, and it has some memorable scenes.

The result is a goldsmithing piece as smart as manipulating; as surprising as cheating. This time, the hell is upstairs... and also downstairs.
