Plot
Three generations of women: Ray (Elle Fanning) is a teen girl who doesn't feel like a woman, She is ready to have a sex change. This is her goal and to do that, she have to transform the routine of her family. Maggie (Naomi Watss) is the Ray's mom and when she knows the decision of her daughter, she starts the searching for the biological father of Ray, who has to let Ray the legal permission of transforming from girl to boy. Dolly (Susan Sarandon) is a Ray's lesbian grandmother. She has to accept in her mind that her granddaughter is now a grandson. Directed by Gaby Dellal, the movie is written by Nikole Beckwith. Other actors like Tate Donovan (Craig) or Sam Trammell (Matthew) collaborate in the film.
