Carry On Jatta 4

Jass has fallen in love at a wedding again, this time with Reet. Before she says yes, though, she wants to meet his whole family and see for herself how the women in that house are treated. What should be a simple introduction soon turns into a tangle of lies, fake identities and last minute cover stories that drags in his friend Honey, his brother Goldie, Goldie's wife and their son.

True to the franchise, every lie needs ten more to prop it up, and the chaos soon gets away from all of them.

'Carry On Jatta 4' almost didn't happen. Jaswinder Bhalla, the series' much loved patriarch, died on 22 August 2025, with much of the script already written, and Gippy Grewal thought about dropping the project altogether. In the end the team went ahead and brought Bhalla back to the screen with AI, with his family's blessing.

Smeep Kang, who has directed every film since 'Carry on Jatta' in 2012, is back with a script by Naresh Kathooria. Grewal, who also produces, returns as Jass alongside Binnu Dhillon, Gurpreet Ghuggi and Karamjit Anmol. Sargun Mehta, the new leading lady after Sonam Bajwa starred in the second and third films, plays Reet. It reached cinemas in India and the UK on 26 June 2026 and had the biggest Punjabi opening of the year up to then. Its average across the two outlets collected on Movienco is 8 out of 10.
