Die My Love

'Die My Love' is an adaptation of the novel 'Die, My Love' by writer Ariana Harwicz that explores the experiences of depression and emerging psychosis with rawness and without hiding reality.

A young couple decides to leave the fast pace of city life and move from New York to a inherited house in an isolated rural area in the state of Montana. Grace (Jennifer Lawrence) and Jackson (Robert Pattinson) hope it will be the beginning of a peaceful life. Shortly after moving, Grace becomes pregnant. She faces it with hope and passion; however, not everything goes as the couple expected. 

A contrast: the beautiful and tranquil meets the taboo and chaos. Surrounded by nature and silence, she finds herself immersed in a silence that builds the bars of the mental cage that traps her. Loneliness replaces identity, she loses herself along the way.

Emotions, perception, and the boundary between the real and the imaginary become distorted. Miscommunication, exhaustion, and disconnection creep into the cracks of the relationship. A sensory journey, her identity as a mother and woman, her struggle between madness and sanity. She discovers that even the most beautiful things one desires can bring greater consequences than one could imagine.
