Ferdinand is a bull with a huge heart who lives with his friends. He is a peaceful animal who loves enjoying nature without hurting anyone. But one day, everything changes. When he is mistaken for a dangerous beast, Ferdinand is captured and torn from his home to be taken to Spain, where he will be forced to become a fighting bull. But Ferdinand doesn't like violence or chasing bullfighters' red pieces of fabric. So he instead decides to get back to his family by recruiting a group of animals who help him to escape and return home in the greatest adventure of his life. Directed by Carlos Saldanha, director of 'Ice Age' and 'Rio', 'Ferdinand' teaches us that you can't judge a bull by its horns.
