From Beyond

Stuart Gordon directs this film with a script co-written by Dennis Paoli and Brian Yuzna. Based on a story by H. P. Lovecraft and considered a cult horror film of the 80s. The story centers on Dr. Pretorius (Ted Scorel) and his faithful companion, Dr. Tillinghast (Jeffrey Combs). The two are working on an experiment that will change the perception of life and never seen before. The project shows how through stimulating the pineal gland can get the mind reaches higher dimensions. The problem will come when this experiment goes out of control and to be alive itself, seeking ways to end the life of the doctors and of the human race. Will they win Dr. Tillinghast and Dr. Pretorius this evil monster?
