Quinn Lasher's debut feature is about a mother of a family who travels alone with her two young daughters, Maddie and Kayla (Abigail and Anna Pniowsky, respectively), to spend a vacation in a house in the woods, next to a lake. Laura (Yvonne Strahovski de Dexter), the mother, is anticipating the trip to the family country house because her husband Shawn (Justin Bruening of Gray's Anatomy) must wait because he has to finish the job before. In the time between she and the father arrive, a mysterious psychopath with a mask and an ax, sometimes with childish behavior, but also murderers, finds the three girls. It terrifies them and corners them inside the house. Their intentions are not friendly at all.
