Synopsis

Born in Budapest but raised in Israel, Maysaloun Hamoud presents her first feature film, directing the drama 'Bar Bahar (In Between)'. Salma, Laila and Nur are the three main characters of this movie. They will never fit in a society that doesn't represent them. They are Palestinians with Israeli passports that want to live a life of freedom in Tel Aviv, far away from their birthplaces. They drink, smoke and spend their lives doing things considered wrong by Isaraeli moral standarts. The three women look for the true love, but soon they will realize that, being young Palestinian women, won't be easy to achieve a relationship chosen by them. The three women will be forced to choose what will be their place in the world, either in the big city or in their old villages.
