It Takes Two to Tango

'No Way Out' is the new comedy by French filmmaker Jean-Pierre Améris, who is at the helm of direction and shares the script with Marion Michau. Améris tells us the story of Victorie, traveling on a train bound for Geneva. The protagonist, with an intrusive character, crosses paths with Antoine Toussaint, a great star of French music whom Victoire has adored forever. He is in the midst of an existential crisis, about to take his own life, and she exudes positive and explosive energy, which will make sparks fly and bring about some laughter during their encounter. 

Valérie Lemercier plays Victoire in 'No Way Out', while Gérard Darmon plays Toussaint, this somewhat forgotten glory. The rest of the cast includes Patrick Timsit, Alice de Lencquesaing, Aurélien Cavagna, Eric Viellar and Sophie Mounicot, among other actors and actresses. 

Jean-Pierre Améris is known for other titles such as 'A Rental Family', 'A Cabaret in the Countryside' or 'Life'. 

'It Takes Two to Tango' is produced by companies such as Escazal Films, France 3 Cinéma, Canal+ and Ciné+. In Spain, it is distributed by Vértigo Films, which is preparing for its release on March 13, 2026.
